How To Use

Our product comes in cream form, and it is not meant to be absorbed by the body.  It therefore means that, at the end of the day, the cream you applied to your underarm remains unless you deliberately wash it off with soap and water.  It is advised that in the morning, prior to application of a new layer of cream, and at night prior to going to bed, the underarms be washed carefully to make sure that any cream residue is removed.  Any accumulation of cream residue on the underarm is a potential repository of bacteria and will itself be the source of bad odor.

Deodorant, Not Antiperspirant

ONO Deo Cream will fight underarm and body odor, but it will not prevent you from perspiring.  Why?  Because our product is not designed to prevent sweating.  Sweating has a purpose.  Our body is designed to sweat as part of our metabolic process, and it is the body’s way of excreting toxins.  It is unhealthy to suppress sweating because if the body cannot sweat, the toxins have no way of getting out.  One website article explains this very simply:

The Challenges of Shifting to an All-Natural Alternative

If you have never used an all-natural deodorant before, it may take a lot of getting-used-to to shift to an all-natural one.  First of all, there is the sweating.  If you were using an antiperspirant before, you may find it uncomfortable to be sweating again.

Second, you may feel that the product is not working.  If you find the product ineffective, kindly read the “How To Use” section above to make sure it is applied correctly.  All-natural deodorants do not guarantee “effectiveness” in concrete terms because body odor is primarily caused by what we eat.  As one website article says:

Potential Sensitivity to Beeswax

This product has beeswax. Beeswax itself does not cause any allergies or sensitivities. But propolis does to some people. Propolis is “bee glue” that gets mixed in the wax. Propolis can cause a rash. Not many people have this sensitivity to propolis, but if you are not sure, you may want to keenly observe your reaction to the product. Stop use if a rash develops.
